Black Pepper Shrimp Skillet
This Black Pepper Shrimp Skillet is a bold and savory dish packed with juicy shrimp, vibrant peppers, and a rich buttery sauce with a kick of black pepper heat.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt to taste
Directions:
- Heat vegetable oil and butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Add shrimp, season lightly with salt, and cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add sliced bell peppers and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
- Stir in black pepper, smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, soy sauce, honey, and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until everything is glossy and well combined.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
